The Lighthouse Cards is a card game made up of personal questions that spark self-reflection. The game is divided into different categories that vary in terms of depth, and that can be explored with family, friends, and acquaintances. The key to playing the game is to embrace vulnerability. We’ve been wired to put on masks to protect ourselves which often prevents us from forming meaningful connections with others. We never know the magic that we can find if we decide to take our masks off. Not only is it about letting your guard down, but it's also about showing up with genuine interest in the stories of the people around you, and seeing their dreams, fears, and insecurities. Maybe even seeing yours. We tend to hide parts of ourselves that we think are ugly from other people, but I'm forever indebted to the people who taught me that you can be vulnerable and still be loved. The two are not mutually exclusive. I hope you learn from this game as much as I did when I was making it. I hope you fall in love with humanity and its fragility through this game. Stay vulnerable.
